I fell in love with Mattie at first sight...a tiny, skinny little thing, all ears and no tail.  Her name has something to do with the honor bands I participated in in high school, and a high school crush.  I picked her up on my way back from one of said honor bands, hence the reason for her name.  Mattie is a typical cat...thinks she's Queen of the house (even though we all know that role belongs to Sissy!), can be quite standoffish, and prefers to come to you for attention when she feels like it - not the other way around.  She is my Mattie girl, though, and I love her to pieces.  Mattie is a Manx.
